Industrial Training at Hima Cement Limited

• Sampling, physical and chemical analysis of raw materials, raw meal, clinker and cement. • Preparing the samples by drying and crushing ahead of analysis by XRF machine and recording the results in the log sheets. • Preparing various samples as fused beads and carrying out analysis by XRF. • Preparing Chemical reagents for use in Chemical analysis and ensuring they are standardised • Determining the viscosity, density, calorific value, sulphate and water content in heavy fuel oil and other fuels • Chlorination of water and De-ionising water for use in Physical and Chemical analysis.
