I am Catherine Arineitwe. I write to express my interest in your services for a job placement. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from Makerere University Business School with work experience in Office administration and management systems and practices, Customer Care services, Implementation of programs/projects having worked on a two year’s USAID funded projects” Family Planning and Saving Mothers Giving Life Projects that were being implemented in the Rwenzori Western region by Marie Stopes Uganda, a health reproductive agency among others.
This background has given me a passion of serving people and experience working with NGOs implementing Projects / Programs or Institutions/ Companies operating to provide a service to the community.
For over four years I have worked with a Pre- school(Early Childhood Education) and a health reproductive agency (Marie Stopes Uganda) respectively in administration and office management capacity as shown in my profile; driven by a passion to create the most systematically effective and efficient supportive structure of the organisation. These opportunities have improved my Inter personal skills, Communication skills, and Planning and Negotiation skills among others. I am able to manage multi administration functions especially having worked for two years in a busy International organisation like Marie Stopes Uganda as an Administrative Assistant.
In my role at Marie Stopes I provided leadership of Office Administration & Planning, Front Office Reception and Direction, Budgeting for Kitchen, Office Supplies and Maintenance, Records management, Management of Imprest, and Stores Management among others to a fast growing NGO with over 35 employees in the Western Rwenzori region office where I was based. I am able to manage work in an organized and timely fashion with consistent high quality results, plan and utilize creative ways to save resources. These attributes will be resourceful at my next level.
In my employment history and active service I have upheld values not only important in my profession but also in the organizations I have been privileged to work with. Values such as integrity, respect for diversity and continuous learning have enabled me to accomplish my assignments and also grow into a respected trustworthy personality among my colleagues as they will testify.
