I am a Ugandan aged 41 years and competent and pursuing masters in Development Studies of Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi Uganda Rubaga Campus, completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management of Uganda Management Institute Kampala a graduate in Bachelor degree in Agriculture and Environment from Gulu University and National Diploma in General Agriculture from Bukalasa Agricultural College.

I work on a voluntary basis as a Programs Director for Health And Development Agency for Community Empowerment (HADACE) a local non government organization based in Kamwenge and before worked for UNHCR as a Programme Assistant on temporary assignments from August 2017 to December 2018 and before worked in UNHCR Kyaka 11 Refugee Settlement as a Field Associate South West Mbarara Sub Office a position served for two years from 27th July 2015 to 26th July 2017 and before worked for Inter Aid Uganda Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement as a Livelihood Officer for one year and two months then with Caritas Fort Portal Diocese as a Project Coordinator a position served for two years finally worked as a Programme Officer Livelihood Support and Development in SOS Children’s Village Uganda Fort Portal Location an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO).

Other than the above competences, I possess vast experience/Skills in training courses in Computer packages, Village Saving and Loans Association (VSLA), SPSS for data analysis and Farmer Field Schools Methodology and Approach, Farming as a business, pre and post-harvest handling techniques of all agricultural crops in Uganda. In addition I have online training in all protection mandatory courses and program learn and connect trainings under UNHCR trainings. In addition have participated and conducted fully in programs like AGD, and events like world refugee day organization, world environment day and international women’s day to be successful in the settlement.
I have 10 years’ experience working in a competitive Environment with minimum supervision in the field and office in terms of prompt report preparation and accuracy, open and reliable with high integrity, self-motivated, proactive and result oriented, excellent team work, gender sensitive and high affinity to protestant character. I have worked with different partners and other development organizations which the experience has motivated to apply for this post.

Programs Director at HADACE

 Contribute to the development of strategy, directions and business plan for HADACE operations priorities (short, medium and long term).  Develop and lead in implementation of business/operations plans for programmes division in alignment with strategy and plans of other departments.  Provide leadership and support, in close partnership with Resource Development Division for new programme development, improvement in programme quality and programme transition in line with business plan.  Working closely with Resource Development Division and other internal subject experts in the solicitation, tracking and reporting on grants from major institutional donors – foundations, bi-lateral aid agencies, etc. – and contracts with other NGO partners.  Develop and maintain mission driven sustainable programs and services using varied funding sources, consistent with the HADACE strategic plan. Agriculture Extension worker at Uganda Tobacco Services (UTS) Hoima
