HRM ROLES 1. Direct and coordinate the development of HR policies and procedures to ensure effective management of Human Resources 2. Develop and recommend operating budget for the Human Resources function and ensure department operates within budget allocations which includes making expenditure adjustments during the budget cycle as appropriate to ensure efficient funds management 3. Prepare and maintain accurate records, files and reports, including responsibility for maintaining personnel records, including personnel action forms, timesheets, contracts, and consultant agreements. 4. Manage all training programs for the organization for example Customer Care training, Basic Front of House Training, How to improve employee productivity, Health and safety among others 5. Review and revise Job Descriptions to ensure that they are up to date and complete. 6. Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classification, merit increases. 7. Coordinate staff recruitment and selection process in order to ensure that we always have the right employees for the right jobs at the right time. 8. Payroll management and administration (ensure that accurate information reflects in the payroll database) 9. Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with employment-related laws and regulations e.g. PAYEE, NSSF, Local Service Tax 10. Provide guidance and counselling in issues relating to employee complaints and/ or concerns 11. Spot checks on Food & Beverages to ascertain that wastage control process is being adhered to 3. Interface with contractors and suppliers as and when the need raisers. 4. Supervision of staff ADMINISTRATIVE ROLES • Ensure the smooth functioning of the office in terms of service, supplies and consumables • Oversee the proper maintenance, storage, retrieval of files and documents in order to ensure that they are accessible and secure • Liaise with the office cleaner to ensure a healthy and clean environment • Conduct monthly petty cash reconciliation in line with the accounts officer. • Liaise with the Stores Personnel to ensure that all items required are purchased twice every week and payments are effected accordingly • Track and monitor vehicle / motor cycle movement schedules including servicing and fueling • Maintain and manage the office diary • Monitor compliance with local statutory bodies e.g. KCCA • Supervise monthly stock taking in the store and ware house in liaison with the stores personnel • Organize all travel itineraries and related bookings
