Smile Communications is a Telecommunication company (ISP) providing 4G LTE mobile broadband in several countries in Africa. With an objective of becoming the broadband provider of choice for Superfast mobile broadband and Super Clear voice services. As Senior Manager/Head of Sales & Distribution, I was primarily responsible for development of key segments and channel partnerships that will see expansion of business through various collaborative models for revenue growth. Other roles included: 1. Providing leadership, direction and development to all aspects of the Smile indirect distribution and sales channels. 2. Implementing indirect distribution and sales channel strategies, and accurately and proactively managing sales forecasts. 3. Delivering the sales targets set for Smile’s indirect channels (distribution)-(customers, revenues, costs of sales). 4. Working with relevant functions to identify and recruit indirect sales partners (Distributors) within Smile’s coverage areas. 5.
