• Developing effective induction programmes and ensuring that new employees go through the induction process to enable them settle in the company. • Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness. • Obtain, organize, and develop training course materials, such as handouts or visual materials. • Producing training materials for in-house courses, scheduling training sessions and send notification to participants. • Ensure that training requirements are adequately specified and documented • Managing training programs to ensure they are delivering results • Prepare progress reports for the senior management team and maintain employees’ training records, informing all employees about their training demands. • Team working with the safety team to design, deliver and assess training programmes • Supervising interns and following up on their progress in the company, ensuring they are getting the learning expectations, ensuring timely salary payments among others. • Compile and prepare contractor daily and weekly attendance reports in the company. • Replenishing the First Aid boxes within the Plant, mobilising peer educators & First Aiders for meetings and trainings, distribution of updated medical flow charts, distribution of mosquito nets and condoms to every employee and to the community etc. • Daily inspection of welfare facilities (Plant washrooms, Guest houses, Housing Estates, Canteens, drinking water points, compounds,) to ensure the required hygiene is maintained and reporting anomalies for rectification and ensuring proper housekeeping. • File all documents related to training activities.
