I am highly dynamic, hardworking, work motivated with abilities to produce results irrespective of circumstances.
I possess vast skills and experience acquired from Equity Bank (U) Limited where I served in various capacities as a Credit Supervisor and Branch Supervisor, former Uganda Microfinance Limited (MDI) where I served as a field Officer and Head of Field (Uganda Microfinance Union –NGO), The Hunger Project Uganda where I served as a Credit Officer and East African Premier Investments Limited where I am currently serving in the capacity of Credit Manager overseeing credit operations and investment potentials of the whole company.

I am a Certified Professional Banker (CPB) and a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Finance), ACCA Level I, certificates in short courses such as Lending to Private Health Care providers, Micro Corporate Credit (MCC) appraisal, working capital and group lending dynamics, SME Credit Appraisal and monitoring, agricultural loan product design, agricultural lending and Micro leasing, Free to grow customer care, Risk management in financial institutions, Advances Credit management, monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), Risk management and assessment and Delinquency management and Risk management conducted by the Global Microfinance Association in UK.

I worked with The Hunger Project Uganda, a leading Community Development Partner based in New York, as the Credit Officer. I held a full time position to run The Hunger Project’s two Micro Credit components with a vision of creating community owned and managed Rural Banks (SACCOs). Under my supervision, there are seven outfield project officers who coordinate the program with me in the Districts training the Board and group members on how to manage their rural banks, empowering local leaders in the Women and Men microfinance Program to continuously take more ownership of the rural banks.

My experience in International Non-Governmental Organisation (NGOs) and leading financial institutions in East Africa enabled me to acquire outstanding skills at assessment promoting viable SMEs for funding, control and mitigation, enhancing risk based business growth, strategic business growth and management notwithstanding my expertise in microfinance and banking industry provides an exceptional background to lead the team.

My working experience has taught me to always appreciate the ethic of team work while managing and meeting reporting deadlines which may require putting in extra hours. In exceptional way, I possess both urban and rural experience as I have worked in rural communities dealing with farmers in value chain developments.

My utmost career interest is to continue contributing to social and economic development at national and international level, and this job opening would no doubt present me with this opportunity. I hope to contribute to promoting, developing and providing technical oversight on how to create viable/sustainable income generating activities in the targeted communities.
